Test 1 (8.7)
iOS
- Connect an external keyboard (and configure keyboard navigation).
- Browse the screen and locate the additional content that appears when focusing a user interface component.
- Check that the additional content can be hidden using a keyboard key (the ESC key, for example).
- Check that the additional content remains visible
- until the focus is moved away from the user interface component and the additional content;
- or as long as the focus is positioned on the user interface component or in the additional content;
- or as long as the additional content is valid.
- Connect a mouse.
- Scan the screen with the mouse and locate the additional content that appears when a user interface component is hovered over.
- Check that the additional content can be hovered over with the mouse.
- Check that the additional content remains visible
- until the mouse pointer is moved away from the user interface component and the additional content;
- or as long as the mouse pointer hovers over the user interface component or the additional content;
- or as long as the additional content is valid.
- If this is the case, the criterion is validated.
Android
- Connect an external keyboard (and configure keyboard navigation).
- Browse the screen and locate the additional content that appears when focusing a user interface component.
- Check that the additional content can be hidden by a key on the keyboard (generally the key or combination of keys that will have been associated in Switch Access for the Return parameter)
- Check that the additional content remains visible
- until the focus is moved away from the user interface component and the additional content;
- or as long as the focus is positioned on the user interface component or in the additional content;
- or as long as the additional content is valid.
- Connect a mouse.
- Scan the screen with the mouse and locate the additional content that appears when a user interface component is hovered over.
- Check that the additional content can be hovered over with the mouse.
- Check that the additional content remains visible
- until the mouse pointer is moved away from the user interface component and the additional content;
- or as long as the mouse pointer hovers over the user interface component or the additional content;
- or as long as the additional content is valid.
- If this is the case, the criterion is validated.
