Export the final audit report as a PDF.
Cette documentation est disponible en anglais uniquement.
Goal
Produce the final report deliverable as a PDF for the audit commissioner.
Preconditions
- The audit has at least its samples and findings recorded.
- The accessibility statement has been drafted (recommended but not required).
- A report template is set for the workspace (built-in or custom).
Steps
- Open the audit and go to the Report tab.
- Review the report preview.
- Adjust the export options:
- Sections to include (audit metadata, samples, findings, journeys, statement, recommendations)
- Grouping (by criterion or by sample)
- Severity and impact summary
- Click Export PDF.
- Save the file when prompted.
Custom templates (Pro and Enterprise)
For workspaces with custom report templates, choose the template before exporting. Custom templates control branding, section order, and styling.
Verify success
- The PDF opens cleanly.
- All selected sections are present.
- Branding (logo, colors) matches the workspace template.
- Findings count matches what is shown in the audit's Findings tab.
Common pitfalls
- Exporting before findings are complete. "Not tested" findings appear in the report and undermine credibility.
- Forgetting to draft the statement first. The report often references the statement; missing it leaves a gap.
- Manual edits in the PDF. Edit the source data in CheckFox and re-export instead. Manual PDF edits get lost on the next re-audit.
