Create a new audit, ready to receive samples.
Cette documentation est disponible en anglais uniquement.
Goal
Create a new audit in the active workspace, ready to receive samples and findings.
Preconditions
- You are signed in.
- You are inside the workspace where the audit should live.
- Your role is Member or higher.
- The workspace has not reached its
max_auditslimit (visible in workspace settings).
Steps
- Click New audit in the sidebar (or + Create > Audit, depending on UI variant).
- Enter a name (the service or product being audited).
- Optionally enter a description (scope notes, target audience).
- Pick a referential: WCAG 2.2, RGAA 4.1, RAWeb 1.1, or another available option.
- Pick a conformance level: A, AA, or AAA. AA is the default for most audits. See methodology / referentials overview.
- Optionally place the audit in a folder. See
/docs/audit-folders.md. - Click Create.
Verify success
- The audit appears in the workspace's audit list.
- Opening the audit shows empty Samples, Findings, Statement, and Report tabs.
- The chosen referential and level are displayed in the audit header.
Common pitfalls
- Picking AAA by default. AAA is rarely the right level. Most regulations require AA. Confirm with the audit commissioner.
- Forgetting to set scope notes. Scope is easy to forget upfront and expensive to reconstruct later.
- Creating audits in a personal workspace when the work is collaborative. Personal workspaces have one member only.
