Menu and navigation bar

A list of links for specific navigation within the site, a section or a collection of pages.

The main navigation bars (critère 12.2) are

• A navigation menu;
• A breadcrumb trail;
• A navigation list for a list of results;
• Skip links.

There are different types of navigation menu (critère 12.1 and critère 12.2):

• Main navigation menu;
• Sub-heading menu;
• Context menu;
• Table of contents for a set of web pages.

Note: Footer links to the legal aspects, site map and other information about the site are not considered to be a main navigation menu.
