Refresh process

This term is defined by more than one standard, and the wording differs. Each definition below is the one that applies to that standard’s criteria.

A technique for modifying the content of one or more elements of a web page. The refresh process can be carried out by automatically reloading the page or dynamically without reloading the page (via AJAX, for example). The user must be able to control each refresh process independently.
