Application mechanism for displaying a correct contrast ratio
A user interface component whose activation allows the appearance of the site or page to be modified so that content is displayed with a sufficient contrast ratio. The design of this interface component must comply with criterion 2.2 and criterion 2.3 without itself using a mechanism enabling a compliant contrast ratio to be displayed. This mechanism must maintain the same content and functionality as the site or page it modifies.

- 2.2 — On each screen, is the contrast between the colour of the text and the colour of its background sufficiently high (excluding special cases)?
- 2.3 — On each screen, are the colours used in the user interface components and the graphic elements conveying information sufficiently contrasted (excluding special cases)?
- 2.4 — Is the contrast ratio of each replacement mechanism for displaying a correct contrast ratio sufficiently high?
