Add an add-on to a workspace, use the Starter half-price perk, and cancel an add-on.
Goal
Add a single feature to a workspace without changing its plan, or stop paying for one. Which add-ons exist and which plans include them is in product / plans and roles.
Add an add-on
- Open Management > Billing & Plan and scroll to Add-Ons.
- Set the Monthly or Annual toggle. The add-on is billed on that cycle.
- Click Add on the add-on.
- Pay on the Stripe page. You return to Billing & Plan and the feature is active.
Each add-on is its own subscription, with its own renewal date.
An add-on your plan already includes is listed as Included in {plan} and is never charged.
On Starter: Pro may cost less
Pro includes Journeys, Scanner and MCP. When a Starter workspace adds one of them, Billing & Plan first suggests upgrading to Pro and shows the price difference. Choose Upgrade to Pro, or Add just {add-on} to keep Starter.
Starter half-price perk
A Starter workspace gets one of Journeys, Scanner or MCP at half price, for as long as it stays on Starter.
- The first eligible add-on you subscribe to gets the discount automatically.
- You can move the discount to another eligible add-on from the Your Starter perk card. After a change you have to wait before changing it again. The card shows the date.
- Integrations is not part of the perk because Starter already includes it.
- Upgrading to Pro ends the perk, because Pro includes all three add-ons.
Cancel an add-on
- In Add-Ons, find the add-on under Subscribed & included add-ons.
- Click Cancel and confirm.
The add-on stays active until the end of its current billing period, then stops. There is no refund for the remaining time. You can also manage add-on subscriptions in the billing portal (Manage via billing portal).
When the add-on ends, its feature is locked again, but nothing you created with it is deleted. Adding it back, or moving to a plan that includes it, unlocks it again.
Common pitfalls
- Expecting an add-on to follow you. Add-ons belong to the workspace they were bought for, like plans.
- Paying twice after an upgrade. You don't: when you upgrade to a plan that includes an add-on you pay for, that add-on is cancelled with a prorated credit.
